Systems-thinker and collaborative designer director.
Alex specializes in strategic, vision-based work to help teams concept and prioritize efforts. She understands when incremental innovation is needed for usability and adoption, and when there is opportunity to push boundaries on a larger scale.
After graduating with a degree in Interdisciplinary Archaeology, she has spent the past 12+ years in various design roles, mostly focusing on the moments where digital experiences meet physical touch-points.
Projects of interest
Alex’s ultimate goal is to create work that considers nature, and the human connection to it, to make a balanced lifestyle more achievable. She wants to create healthy, non-intrusive experiences that are extensions of the way people naturally interact with their surroundings. She’s always looking for ways to improve complex systems like healthcare, and to create more transparent, representative systems through community driven design.
She explores physical utility through her woodworking and ceramic art.
